We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available

Age Concern Carlisle & District relies on the help of over 300 volunteers who regularly donate their own free time to help people in their local community.

We are always ready to welcome new volunteers, so if you think you could spare an hour or two each week to help older people in your local community we would love to hear from you.

Will I be able to choose?

How much time do I need to give?

You can give as much or as little time as you can.  We appreciate any help you can offer us.

Do I get paid?

We will pay all out of pocket expenses, e.g. bus fares or car mileage.
