Donations and Fundraising
Your contribution can make a difference to the lives of older people
Age Concern Carlisle & District is a local Charity responsible for raising its own income to support the many services we provide for older people in our local community.
How can you help us?
Donations
We appreciate the support of the many local individuals who make donations to help us with our work.
Donations can be made in a number of ways.
Gift Aid
If you are making a donation and you are presently paying income tax, you could increase the value of your donation by signing a gift aid form, available from 20, Spencer Street. We can then reclaim the tax from the Inland Revenue.
Legacies
If you would like to remember us in your will, you could ask your solicitor to arrange a bequest to Age Concern Carlisle & District.
Fundraising
We would be very grateful to any groups or individuals who would be willing to organise fundraising events on our behalf. This could be coffee mornings, sponsored events, raffles etc.
We have an active fundraising committee who are always ready to welcome new members.
INK CARTRIDGE RECYCLING
We are now operating an inkjet cartridge recycling scheme, people can donate their used inkjet cartridges to Age Concern Carlisle & District and we can then raise funds by sending them to be recycled.
We are able to accept all inkjet cartridges apart from the Epsom brand which are not recyclable.
You can drop your used cartridges off either at our head office, 20 Spencer Street in Carlisle, or at any of our 4 shops.
Alternatively you can send them free of charge directly to our recycling company by putting them in an envelope and sending them to the address below:
